# Hotel POS / Bar Purchasing Update

## Included
- Purchasing sidebar entries for Purchase Requisition, List Purchases / Orders, and Add Purchase.
- Add Purchase form includes supplier, receiving store, purchase status, product search by name/SKU, quantity, unit cost, unit selling price, expiry date, payment amount, payment mode, expected date, and notes.
- Selecting status `Received / Add to stock` records a goods-received note and updates stock using the existing purchasing service. It also applies the entered selling price to the product.
- Payment amount/mode are stored on the purchase order and a supplier payment ledger entry is created for any positive amount entered.
- New migration: `2026_10_21_000001_extend_purchases_for_hotel_bar.php`.

## Deployment
1. Back up the database and current application files.
2. Upload/extract the ZIP over the existing application, preserving `.env` and uploaded files.
3. Run `php artisan migrate --force` from the application root, or apply the new migration using your normal deployment process.
4. Clear cached Laravel configuration/views if the hosting setup requires it: `php artisan optimize:clear`.

The application routes could not be bootstrapped in this environment because PHP CLI lacks the `mbstring` extension (`mb_split()` is undefined). PHP syntax checks passed for the changed PHP files; database execution and live cPanel behavior have not been verified here.
